COMPARISON
JBHNTR and LinkedIn Jobs, compared
LinkedIn Jobs is a professional network with its own job inventory and, now, AI-assisted search. JBHNTR is an independent agent that searches across many sources and scores each role in both directions. They solve different halves of the same problem, and most people will use both.

Where they differ
| Dimension | LinkedIn Jobs | JBHNTR |
|---|---|---|
| Where roles come from | Its own inventory, posted by employers to the platform | 25+ sources including direct employer career pages; not LinkedIn |
| Who the tool acts for | Candidates and employers, with recruiter products as the revenue base | The candidate. No recruiter product today, and any future one requires explicit opt-in |
| How fit is expressed | Relevance and match signals within the platform | Two scores, role fit and requirements fit, with reasons for and against |
| Profile visibility | A public professional profile is the core of the product | Private by default, not browsable |
| Best at | Network, employer presence, breadth of its own postings, being where recruiters look | Reading across sources you would not check yourself and saying which few are worth a decision |
When LinkedIn is the better tool
Sometimes it is the right choice: when the role is likely to be posted only on LinkedIn, when the network connection matters more than the match, and when a recruiter needs to find the candidate rather than the other way round. JBHNTR does not have broader coverage than LinkedIn. The difference is structural: LinkedIn earns from the employer and recruiter side, so it is not built to be an agent acting for one candidate across the whole market.
